Jerry Lee is a political scientist educated on the principles of a self-made theory dubbed 'Power Valence'. He is the author of 'GlobDemons' and 'PolitiMagni', the cornerstones of Asymmetrism, a revolutionary political philosophy which responds to today's global challenges. Among a set of measures to solve many of this world's underlying issues, he advocates birth control (PopCo), that is, a regulation of natural population growth as well as immigration flows - read his policy on Population and special PopCo project. Jerry Lee's political philosophy is centered on the individual and its development. He believes, a successful political and economic system only exists to ultimately disappear without substitutes, favoring liberalism over interventionism, while rejecting with the strongest terms expressions of anarchy or populism.

Jerry Lee always sustained, right from the beginning in April 2011, that the UN's mandate for
a no-fly zone in Libya "to protect civilians" had been grossly misinterpreted to oust and assassinate Gaddafi. NATO's
intervention, with its 25'000 dead and an estimated 20'000 seriously injured, would fire back against their instigators.
And indeed, today, Mr Sarkozy, who led the war in Libya, entered French History as the President who stayed the
shortest time in function. A series of judiciary cases will pursue him as a normal citizen. Namely, the illegal
financing of his 2007 campaign by Mrs Bethencourt and Muammar Gaddafi himself, and the Karachigate in which 11 French
engineers were killed while on a mission in Pakistan to advise the government on the construction of submarines there.
Recently, Human Right Watch denounced NATO for underplaying the number of victims its war had cost during its
intervention in 2011. Officials have not denied the claims. See gw's articles on the Arab Spring of 2011 in

| Fukushima nuclear disaster: |
It's always been one of gw's main policy to abandon nuclear energy and to favor, instead, renewable sources
of energies. Nuclear energy is simply too dangerous to be used in practice. The nuclear disaster of Fukushima is again a reminder that the
benefits of cheap energy will never offset the risks for human health associated with nuclear energy production, namely, nuclear waste,
sporadic incidents, not to mention disasters. Another reason why nuclear energy must be abandoned is the risk that as the technology
becomes more accessible and energy production is more widespread, some of the technology and radioactive material falls in the hands
of terrorists. Therefore, a global policy of respect for the environment, stability and safety must include an end to nuclear energy. Jerry
Lee is utmost pleased to see Germany ending the production of nuclear energy by 2022 and Switzerland following suit.

Back in 2008 and 2009, Jerry Lee strongly fought for people's right to privacy as part a people's freedom of non-expression. The G20, encompassed by the twenty most powerful countries in the world, did not care less about that value. Instead, it imposed standards of transparency that violated these rights - not surprisingly, harming other nations, but their own. The result was a strong, unexpected collective reaction incarnated by individuals such as Wikileaks' founder Julian Assange who sought to break into the State's own secrete sphere causing a great embarrassment for the international community of diplomats. We must understand that transparency cannot be imposed upon states and people without each suffering the consequences of living in a world with limited freedoms - see Freedom and Ethics and Swiss Bank Secrecy 2009 Plan. |
| Diplomatic Crisis Switzerland-Libya: |
Back in November 2009, Jerry Lee recommended Switzerland to insist on a diplomatic solution with Libya and avoid measures that would escalate tensions between both countries - see Crisis in Swiss-Libyan relations escalates. Despite these recommendations, the Swiss government retaliated by issuing limitations to visas for Libyans traveling to Europe. The measure caused outrage in Libya, and a disapproval within the EU which, after isolating the country during the G20 in April 2009 on its bank-secrecy regulations, added more pressure on Switzerland, threatening to country's veto right on Libyans' entry in the Shengen space, because, it said, the system was not meant to be used for political purposes. The Swiss retaliatory measure had negative effects on commercial relations with Libya. Until today, these relations have not improved. Tensions between both states also caused Max Goeldi, a Swiss engineer living in Tripolis, to be arbitrarily imprisoned, and forced the Swiss government to yet more apologies. A financial compensation of EURO 1.5 mln transferred to one of Annibal Gaddafi's account, as well as a promise for more compensation to come - as will be defined by a special tribunal in Berlin - are probably the sad results of a lack of diplomacy. |
| Occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan: |
To have opposed the idea of occupying Iraq and Afghanistan for the waste of ressources that this would imply. Even the political party - see the Grand Old Party (GOP) - that iniated the war and went through with Iraq's occupation, now believes it was a mistake - see GOP position. Jerry Lee lobbied for a troop withdrawal of Iraq back in 2007 before the troop surge occured. Today, he believes, the extent of the waste is still largely misunderstood. See US Military build-up in Iraq: a decision with desastrous consequences and gw's Iraq policy |
Jerry Lee recommended back in 2008 higher taxes on high revenues from wages, bonuses and compensation packages - see Financial Crisis 2008 - Plan - in order to to promote a sense of responsibility and measure at all levels of the business and prevent a type of income excess that is not properly shared with Society. The measure would have anticipated past and future financial woes while keeping financial regulations as low as possible. Now, the British, French and Germans are starting to follow suit, albeit too moderately.
In a 2011 Boston Consulting report, 40 percent of the 121'600 billions of the world's private deposits fall in the hands of just one percent of world population. |
| Award to Swiss Politician: |
Back in February 2008, Jerry Lee awarded Swiss politician Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf the Gw Award - see Gw Awards - for her loyalty to the Swiss Constitution and electoral system and high personal integrity, one higher than her party's leadership. Almost one year later, in January of 2009, Mrs Widmer-Schlumpf received the Swiss Award. |
| Barack Obama's Presidential Candidacy: |
Jerry Lee is proud to have chosen Barack Obama to be gw's Greatest Man of Vision 2008 back in July of the same year, or before he was nominated candidate to the Presidency by the Democratic Party - see Greatest Man of Vision 2008: Barack Obama. |
| Adjusted Defense Strategy: |
To have recommended a new military strategy to respond more effectively to the threat of international terrorrism. The French government as well as an increasing number of other states are slowly following suit. Jerry Lee's policy focuses on developing ties with military alliances (France is now part of NATO), improving intelligence gathering, and maintaining a smaller but more effective military strenght. See Military Alliances: stability and cost-saving opportunities and gw's policy on Intel Based Leadership (IBL). |
