Iran is determined to control the cycle of nuclear use without international cooperation. As pressure mounts with more international sanctions imposed on the country, Iran may have more to lose than gain with its nuclear program over the long run. Fleeing forwards with hidden intentions could lead to unprecedented military confrontation. See also gw's Policy on Iran and When History Repeats

Jerry Lee approves India's entry into the nuclear club or Nuclear Supplier Group (NSG), because for a nation that did not and does not want to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NTP), the NSG may be World's best way to control its nuclear activities. Jerry Lee believes that India, like other non-signatory countries, should develop in the safest way possible with a reliable supplier like the US. As a matter of fact, the NSG standards include NPT principles and experts from all sides will agree that the deal strenghtens India's moratorium on nuclear testing, even if its foreign policy - namely towards Pakistan - requires a degree of freedom. This should not be understood that the deal goes without restrictions: India's nuclear activities will be given tighter control, and it must be required to sign the NPT on the long run. Meanwhile, Jerry Lee agrees on a two-speed engagement to nuclear disarmament of non-signatory nations. Last but not least, the deal must not affect the World's resolve to stop suspected misuse of nuclear technology worldwide.
