Award 2016: Donald J. Trump
Donald J. Trump

Donald J. Trump (1946 -) is a North American businessman turned politician, author of The Art of the Deal (1987), one of America's most read books. His political ambitions can be traced back to the 1980s when he criticized some of Reagan's defense policies. Probably used as a mean to promote his business more than for ideological reasons, his earlier political campaigns ultimately gave rise to a political project directed against liberal views, the liberal media, the Establishment in Washington and the Political Correctness (PC). Since his June 16, 2015, announcement to run for the presidency of the United States, Donald J. Trump has been consistently defending tax cuts, deregulation, investment in infrastructure, military strength, protection for entitlements for the elderly, trade protectionism, immigration reduction, as well as Law & Order. Through his son in law, Jared Kushner, and daughter, Ivanka Trump, both of which are Jews, Trump supports Israel's Zionist vision of a Great Israel. Trump admits, he is "totally flexible on very, very many issues" including, probably, women's choice to abort and marriage for homosexuals. While criticized for his aggressive stance against business and political opponents and his plain spoken language, Donald Trump gained popularity for speaking out the Truth.

After his November 8 presidential election victory, Donald Trump has surrounded himself with highly professional people with field experience in the military and business world. The Trump government administration is likely going to be the most experienced government in US history.

Jerry Lee is very honored to give Donald J. Trump the Globwatch Award 2016. Donald Trump's plain language, to speak the truth as it is, against the politically correct to warn the people of the United States against the dangers of the present and future, is an example of attitude for Europe's own leadership. Trump embraces Jerry Lee's values of Safety, Respect (for the American people) and Freedom. His devotion to make America Great Again by using his talents of deal-maker and promoter will help the American people improve their life. A stronger America, ultimately, helps all it's Allies. To Donald J. Trump from Globwatch, Thank you!

Award 2015: Jim Humble
Archbishop Jim Humble

Archbishop Jim Humble (1932 -) is a North American mining engineer, author of The Miracle Mineral Solution of the 21st Century (2006) and Master Mineral Solution of the 3rd Millennium (2011) in which he describes Chlorine Dioxide as a remedy for all infection-based illnesses, as well as for those derived from a collapsing immune system. Jim Humble is known and recognised to have successfully treated Malaria and dozens of other diseases with Chlorine Dioxide since 1994. The product, nicknamed by him as 'MMS' is a mixture of Sodium Chlorite and citric or chlorhydric acid, also known by scientists to be the world's most effective anti-pathogen ever discovered. The oxydation power of Chlorine Dioxide blasts anaerobic pathogenes by withdrawing up to 5 electrons. The wide, yet weak potency of chlorine dioxide, as compared to Chlor, allows it to destroy selectively without killing inheritant aerobic molecules like human healthy cells. The theory behind the remedy is being put into practice on a daily basis by tens of thousands of people around the world.

Jim Humble worked as a NASA engeneer. As a gold miner on an exploration tour in Latin America in 1994, he was forced to use a derivative of sodium chlorite against Malaria. He currently devotes his time healing people in Africa and Latin America; people, who cannot afford expensive medicines.

Jerry Lee is very honored to give Bishop Jim Humble the Globwatch Award 2015. Jim Humble's discovery of Chlorine Dioxide for human use is a miracle. He has given people the ability to treat themselves at a minimal cost, while dealing with a great spectrum of well-known diseases. His devotion to effectively help people improve their health against the interests of powerful lobby groups and corporations is truely remarquable. Jerry Lee thanks Jim Humble for all the lifes saved and all those that'll be saved in the future. To Jim Humble from Globwatch, Thank you!

Learn about chlorine dioxide's safety in The effects ofthe acute rising dose administration of chlorine dioxide, chlorate and chlorite to normal healthy adult male volunteers. Visit Jim Humble's website. More Information on MMS at Real Raw Food.

Award 2014: Shin Dong-hyuk
Shin Dong-hyuk

Shin Dong-hyuk (1982 -) is a North Korean defector who was born in a "total-control zone", the Kaechon internment camp, also called 'Camp No. 14'. Undernourishment, torture and forced labor, sometimes 18 hours a day, are meant to voluntarily kill the camp's 15'000 prisoners before the age of 45. At the age of 13, Shin denounces his mother and brother's escape plans to the guards, complying with prison rules that punish offenses with execution. Even as he cooperates, Shin is tortured, and isolated for seven months, then released to assist the public execution of his mother and brother. At the age of 23, Shin eventually escapes to live the dream to just once in his life see the world outside.

Shin worked for LiNK (Liberty in North Korea) in California and attended in 2013 a United Nations' inquiry on human rights in North Korea where he was described by one member as the "single strongest voice" on human-right violations inside North Korean camps.

Jerry Lee is very honored to give Shin Dong-hyuk the Globwatch Award 2014. Shin's personal experiences in North Korea's camps are essential to people and leaders of the 'free world'. They show how destructive oppressive regimes can be; and confirm globwatch's views that under extreme conditions, human life stands above anything else. Shin teaches us, that perverted authority, one that uses ill-treatment to cause fear, provides a victim with no other choice than to take protective measures, even as these may negatively impact others' fate. Self-defense decisions, when proportionate, are legitimate. Jerry Lee thanks Shin for being human - one of us - and having the courage to denounce the atrocities committed by Kim Jong Un's brutal regime. Learn about Shin in this introductory video and watch his story in Camp 14 - Total Control Zone 2013. To Shin Dong-hyuk from Globwatch: Thank you!

Award 2013: Clint Eastwood
Clint Eastwood - copyright

Clint Eastwood (1930 - ) born in San Francisco - California - in the United States, is altogether an American actor, director, producer, composer and politician. Best known for his films Unforgiven (1992) and Million Dollar Baby (2004) for which he received Academy Awards, his artistic achievements are countless ranging from his spaghetti westerns in the 1960s to Play Misty for Me (1971) to Changeling (2008) and J.Edgar (2011). Clint Eastwood contributed to over 50 movies with an overall commercial success never equated before by any other actor including Warren Beatty, Humphrey Bogart or Sean Penn. Quotes from Clint Eastwood include "Go ahead, make my day", a line taken from Sudden Impact (1983) and used by President Ronald Reagan in a speech to Congress and during the 1984 presidential elections. "In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig." from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966). "Nothing wrong with long as the right people get shot." from Dirty Harry (1971). "Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one." from The Dead Pool (1988).

Jerry Lee is very honored to give Clint Eastwood the Globwatch Award 2013. This award is not so much meant to recognize this man's outstanding artistic career, but much more his social and political stances on many controversial issues. Clint Eastwood is a defender of civil rights, namely, of pro-choice abortion and of the Equal Rights Amendment for women. His films often associate him with the use of weapons - in cases of self-defense - which signals support for gun ownership, even if well regulated. His pro-liberal economic views - a Libertarian leaning to the right - described as a symbiosis of Milton in economics and Chomsky in social and international affairs, his fiscal conservatism, as well as his opposition to the 2008 financial crisis' bailout mania, all add up to Globwatch's own views on these matters. Finally, his backing of Romney at the RNC during the presidential elections of 2012, and his recent position in favor of same-sex marriage determined Globwatch's choice for the 2013 Award winner. To Clint Eastwood from Globwatch: Thank you!

Award 2012: Angelina Jolie
Angela Jolie - copyright

Jolie (1975 - ) born in Los Angeles - California - in the United States, is a Hollywood star and producer who started acting at the age of seven along with her father in 'Lookin to Get Out' (1982). Among her best-selling films, "Mr & Mrs Smith" (2005) where she met Brad Pitt. She won several awards for her performances and distinguished herself as a dedicated UNHCR-Goodwill representative. In a statement she said: "We cannot close ourselves off to information and ignore the fact that millions of people are out there suffering. I honestly want to help. I don't believe I feel differently from other people. I think we all want justice and equality, a chance for a life with meaning. All of us would like to believe that if we were in a bad situation someone would help us."

Jerry Lee is very honored to give Angelina Jolie the Globwatch Award 2012. This award recognizes an extraordinary spirit with a strong individuality that grew up on a tumultuous past but eventually shined astonishingly over a hopeless world. In times of uncertainty, when people seek answers to who they are, and to what they ought to do, her sincerity, sensitivity and philosophical sense shows them hope, and the way forward. Thank you!

Award 2011: Jimmy Wales
Jimmy Wales - copyrights

Wales (1966 - ) born in Alabama in the United States is founder and promoter of Wikipedia. As a passionate reader of encyclopedia, Jimmy Wales constantly looked at ways to combine his hobby with the potential that the technology would bring in terms of knowledge diffusion. In March 2000, he set up Nupedia and called Philosopher Larry Sanger to be editor-in-chief. Discouraged by the system's low pace of growth, he contacted Ben Kovitz's whose outstanding programming skills allowed the development of the Wiki model by which articles could be introduced by their authors simultaneously, in a coloborative fashion, thereby, exponentially increasing the speed of content growth. Soon, Wikipedia's success outpaced the antiquated Nupedia model, supported by an enthousiastic open-source community of authors.

Jerry Lee is very proud to give Jimmy Wales the Globwatch Award 2011. While Mr Wales can be praised for his entrepreneurial skills and the constancy with which he has accompanied the development of Wikipedia, gw wishes to thank him for his major contribution to offering multilingual, expert knowledge to the four corners of the planet at no cost. His contribution makes it possible that people without ressources gain knowledge and intelligence to serve their needs and those of their communities. Though Mr Wales' dedication to Wikipedia's development and promotion may not be entirely altruist, it fits very well with gw's values for its monumental importance to human progress. Thank you!

Award 2010: Jasper Schuringa
Jasper Shuringa

Shuringa (1971 - ) born in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, is a Dutch film director who travelled as a passenger on board Northwest Airlines, flight 253, from Amsterdam to Detroit on December 25, 2010, and neutralized a suspected terrorist seated on the opposite side of the plane as he was ignating plastic explosives. While subduing the suspect and looking for more explosives, crew members helped extinguish a fire that burnt his right hand. US intelligence services later revealed the suspect was Abdulmutallab, a 23-year old with known potential links to terrorist organizations. The information was later confirmed by Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula who claimed responsibility for the failed attack. As a result of the attack, the Dutch government immediately imposed 3-D image screenings for all passangers flying to the US.

Look at Shuringa's personal account of events.

Jerry Lee is very proud to give Jasper Shuringa the Globwatch Award 2010. While Mr Shuringa can be praised for having saved the life of 289 passengers, including his own, his "automatic reaction" - as he puts it - fits gw's restricted definition of a hero: "a volunteer who, in critical times, saves the life of one or more comrades while saving his own life." While heroes are guided by a profound sense of justice, their actions - to stop a life-threatening set of circumstances that would otherwise lead to the death of individuals -, remain in the scope of human comprehension and wisdom. Their actions best reflect what gw calls the Laws of Nature, as described in GlobDemons and PolitiMagni.

Award 2009: Nancy Stockey on behalf of 230 US-Economists
Nancy Stokey

Stokey (1950 -) is a Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago. She earned a PhD from Harvard University in 1978 under the supervision of Kenneth Arrow, Nobel Prize in Economics. She published significant research in economic growth and development, and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences. Nancy Stockey is one of 230 US-Economists that signed a letter sent to the Congress on September 24, 2008, opposing the government's Treasury plan as outlined on that date defining it as unfair, ambiguous and risky. After an aleatory selection process, Nancy Stokey was selected by Globwatch to represent the signatories of the letter.

The exact transcription of the letter can be found in Letter to the Congress from 200 US-Economists.

Jerry Lee is very proud to give Prof. Dr. Stokey, as a representative of the signatories, the Globwatch Award 2009. While she can be praised for her academic credentials, her remarkable contribution to the mentioned letter constitutes a constructive public-warning to esteemed policy-makers, in that, policy-failures, or planification, may be dealt with more effectively, when handled with a broader scientific-consensus.

Award 2008: Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf

Widmer-Schlumpf (March 16, 1956 -) is the daughter of former federal councillor Leon Schlumpf. She worked as a lawyer from 1987 to 1998, was the cantonal legislative of Grisons from 1991 to 1997, and was elected in 1998 as first woman to the government of Grison which she presided in 2001 and 2005.

On December 12, 2007, Widmer-Schlumpf of the Swiss People's party (SVP) was elected swiss federal coucillor by the Christian Democrat, Social Democrat and Green parties as an alternate SVP candidate by 125 votes, against 115 for her direct contender Christophe Blocher who had been chosen by the SVP party to renew his mandate at the federal council. Widmer-Schlumpf's decision to accept her new functions against the will of her own party lead to enormous pressure against her person. She was victim of a COFE case, in that, instead of being respected for her dessidence, she was seen as a traitor - she also received life-threatning messages. Later, she was asked to resign from her functions and was excluded from the party's meetings. Eventually, she was urged to leave the SVP altogether. Since the matter could not be resolved legally with the concerned, the SVP ordered the Grison section to expell her from the SVP. But the Grison section challenged the party and refused to go ahead with her expulsion. A split with the Grison section was underway. Today, both Widmer-Schlumpf and the Grison section of the SVP belong to the newly created Civic Party of Switzerland.

Jerry Lee is very proud to give Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf the Glowatch Award 2008. While she may be praised for her loyalty to the Swiss Constitution and electoral system that lead to her ascension to the federal council, she will be remembered for a model of personal integrity. One that must be valued above any other considerations including the ideology of a group of individuals, may they be linked to politics, religion or any other area of society.

Nancy Stokey

Al Gore (March 31, 1948 -) was a member of the United States House of Representatives (1977-85), member of the United States Senate (1985-93) and United States Vice President (1993-2001). Jerrry Lee is very proud to give Albert Arnold Gore the Globwatch Award 2007. His engagement for the Environment on a global scale - Al Gore held numerous lectures around the world on the problems of global warming - is an extraordinary contribution to progress in the world. While Mr Al Gore may be praised for using his credibility to defend the cause of cleaner environmental policies, he will surely be remembered as a leading personality in the area of climate change, who successfully warned the World on environmental challenges, namely the urgent need to reduce CO2 levels to avoid environmental chaos, and other resulting effects. In his lectures, Mr Al Gore also mentioned overpopulation as a cause of concern.

Special thanks to Mr Al Gore and Greenpeace.
