17/11 2007: Special Projects Please select one of the below-mentioned projects: PopCo (Population-growth Control): higher quality of life The name is an abbreviation of 'Population-growth Control'. It is a policy which first objective is to raise the quality of life of every individual of the region where that policy is implemented. The effects of that policy are extremely efficient over the long run. Modern societies already benefit from the positive effects of low birth-rates without implementing PopCo policies. However, they face challenges from immigration flows and natural birth rates that are not regulated by law, but by a social phenomena which could reverse over time. PopCo Individual Pension Fund (IPF): higher standard of living This really means that social policies should prioritize a given share of the nation's resources to people by amassing capitals from three different sources: private savings, employer's contributions and public aid. Once a minimum level of IPF is reached, individuals will have sufficient means to enjoy a confortable retirement. The ultimate goal of the Social Refund Service (SRS) is to accelerate the age of retirement from 65 today, to 30 or 20 in the future. Individual Pension Fund Moshiach: higher confidence in the future Religious fondamentalism is this world's most serious threat to peace. The rising threat of the Islamist ideology - see When History Repeats - and terrorism are directly related to US presence in the Middle East and Western support for Israel. Gw rejects any views that implies a complete withdrawal of US presence from the Middle East, as well as policies that could lead to a weakening of Israel's military position. However, knowing of the irrationality of fundamentalism, Gw believes it must engage politically into a 'Third Way' that breaks down fondamentalist arguments in favor of a 'Holy War' by fulfilling the Old Testament's prophecies, one of which foresees the upcoming of the Moshiach (jewish interpretation of Messiah). Therefore, Gw urges the Jewish people to welcome this person, whoever he may be. Moshiach |
